April Stoppel Jantz
trainer, and dog behaviorist
Owner of Scotch Pines, April Stoppel Jantz trained her first dog at the age of 11. Her hands-on
education with dogs grew over the years as she helped her parents in the dog training business. In 2004 she had
the opportunity to buy the training portion of the business from her parents and is now the full-time trainer and behaviorist
for Scotch Pines Dog Training
Will and Vivian Stoppel
and Vivian Stoppel founded Scotch Pines Dog Training and Boarding in Payette, Idaho, in 1993. Scotch Pines grew into
the largest dog training business in Idaho, serving thousands of dogs and their owners throughout the Treasure Valley and
beyond. The Stoppels sold the dog training portion of their business to their daughter, April, in 2004.
In 2013 they made the decision to sell the boarding kennel
and move to sunny Arizona! In 2016 they were forced to repossess the boarding kennel. Although we as a family enjoyed many
many years of caring for your dogs, the decision was made to permanently retire Scotch Pines Doggy Camp.
