Owner, trainer, and dog behaviorist Owner of Scotch
Pines, April Stoppel trained her first dog at the age of 11. Her hands-on education with dogs grew over the years
as she helped her parents in the dog training business. In 2004 she had the opportunity to buy the training part of the
business from her parents and is now the full-time trainer and behaviorist for Scotch Pines Dog Training

Will and Vivian Stoppel Founders Will and Vivian Stoppel
founded Scotch Pines Dog Training and Boarding in Payette, Idaho, in 1993. Scotch Pines grew into the largest dog training
business in Idaho, serving thousands of dogs and their owners throughout the Treasure Valley and beyond. The Stoppels sold
the dog training portion of their business to their daughter, April, in 2004. They retain the dog boarding facility, a grassy
paradise where dogs romp with each other in New Plymouth, Idaho.
